His second season at the club sees Trent Barrett looking to continue the form of 2007 that saw him narrowly miss out on the Man of Steel Award. Voted Players Player of the year Barrett finished as Wigan's top try scorer in 2007, whilst creating the majority of the warriors tries.
Barrett will be eager to forge his partnership further with half back partner Thomas Leuluai in the warriors bid for silverware. The oldest member of the Wigan team at 30 years of age, but Barrett has admitted that he has not enjoyed playing the game more than in his first season in Super League.
