Mickey is a talented hooker whose trademark vision from dummy half has seen him earn international honours. After a slow start to his career at the JJB Stadium, Mickey, who enjoyed a succesful spell with St Helens, showed some good form towards the end of 2007.

Mickey's preparations for 2008 were damaged somewhat by speculation linking the Warriors with a move for Terry Newton which would have seen Mickey joining Bradford, however the transfer never materialised and Mickey will be keen to prove he can be a more than useful asset for the club.
