Harrison is a powerful second row forward who, at the age of 22 has his best years ahead of him. He has struggled with injuries in recent seasons but his whole hearted performances have seen him become a valuable player for the club. He will be looking for an injury free campaign in 2008.
The son of former Salford star Shane Hansen, Harrison was an England Academy international and has also represented New Zealand however he will be playing for Samoa at this years World Cup.
