An excellent acquisition from St Helens for the 2007 season, Anderson struggled with a back injury throughout his debut season for Warrington. Primarily a second rower, Anderson was chosen to play at loose forward for the majority of his appearances, although a couple of appearances at scrum half to cover injuries showed his class as a utility player. Vinnie had a major part to play in his younger brother Louis signing for the Wolves in 2008
If Vinnie can stay fit during 2008 then his sibling will not get the chance to play at loose forward. He showed great promise during his appearances in 2007, including his speed, scoring a length of the field try in front of the cameras against Salford at the Millennium Magic weekend.
