The younger brother brother of centre Martin Gleeson, Mark grew up in Australia before signing on with the Warrington academy side on his return to the UK in 1999. After a brief stint at Cairns in Australia, Gleeson returned to Warrington Gleeson re-signed for Warrington when Paul Cullen took over as head coach.
Ordinarily the interchange hooker, Mini-Gleese is used to change the tempo of the Warrington attack. Mark made his debut for England against France at Headingley in 2005, but as yet has not been selected for GB. Will no doubt be the back-up hokker to Michael Monaghan in 2008. Gleeson will be out of contract at the end of the year and will no doubt want to play for an extension.
