One of the best impact props in the British game, Paul Wood has already had an amazing career in Warrington colours. Unlucky injuries have kept him out of the Great Britain team, although a good 2008 could see him playing for England in the world cup in Australia at the end of the year.

A top tackler and an excellent metre gainer, Wood has been voted Warrington player of the year and England's international player of the year. The 26 year old is about to enter into his 8th season as a Warrington player after signing from Ince St Williams at the end of the last century.
