The former Halifax academy player has had a torrid time at Warrington so far, his career in the primrose and blue ravaged by injuries, mostly to his shoulder. The stand off or loose forward showed great promise in 2006 when covering during an injury crisis for the Wolves, scoring 6 tries in 11 appearances, also seeing him finish as the most successful tackler at the club that season.

A former target for Newcastle Knights, Grix signed for Warrington in 2004 and had a successful spell in the academy teams at the Halliwell Jones. A serious injury meant he wasn't able to make his debut until 2006, but Grix will be hoping to challenge Chris Bridge and Vinnie Anderson as the back up stand off and loose forward positions at the club.
