Blaymire is a product of the Wakefield academy, despite playing three years away from the club. He left the academy side to join Australian side Coogee Dolphins, before coming back to Britain in 2005 where he played for National League Two side, York City Knights. After impressing, Jon Kear re-signed him for his first club, where he made over 20 appearances last year.
