Fozzard adds to Saints' injury woes
St Helen's prop Nick Fozzard needs reconstruction surgery on his knee and could now be out for the rest of the season.
Fozzard ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament within three minutes of the first half in the Saints' recent Super League victory over Bradford Bulls.
With Jason Cayless also out with a knee injury and Maurie Fa'asavalu sidelined with a broken thumb, Saints will now have to cope without three of their notable front-row players. Saints are also missing the back row pairing of Jon Wilkin (knee) and Chris Flannery (leg).
But it isn't all bad for coach Daniel Anderson, with the return of captain Paul Sculthorpe after his run out against the Bulls. Gareth Frodsham should also be back for Sunday's match againast Wakefield despite suffering concussion at Bradford.
