Leeds 16-20 Hull

Hull defeated Leeds 20-16 in Jamie Jones-Buchanan's testimonial game in front of a 5,329 crowd.
The Airlie Birds hit the front early on when Richard Horne fed brother Graeme to give the visitors a 6-0, Danny Tickle adding the extras.
Horne (Richard) and new signing Chris Thorman linked up well at half back against a Leeds team missing regular playmakers Rob Burrow, Danny McGuire and Kevin Sinfield, giving fans hope that the pair will do well when Super League starts in less than a fortnight.
Hull went in 12-0 up at the break, but Leeds hit back with a try at the start of the second half, reducing arrears to 12-4. A clever kick from Horne was snapped up by Kirk Yeaman who restored Hull's two score advantage. A mistake by former Rhino Mark Calderwood gave Ryan Hall a simple try for the home side, who were surprisingly lacklustre in front of their home crowd.
Leeds added a further try in the closing stages, but there was still time for Hull to slot over a late penalty to seal a confidence boosting win, ahead of their opening Super League game against Wigan on February 13.
Leeds: Lee Smith, Scott Donald, Kallum Watkins, Keith Senior, Ryan Hall, Danny Allan, Brown, Kylie Leuluai, Matt Diskin, Jamie Peacock, Jamie Jones-Buchanan, Ali Lauitiiti, Carl Ablett. Subs: Ashley Gibson, Paul McShane, Luke Burgess, Ian Kirke, Ambler
Hull: Todd Byrne, Mark Calderwood, Graeme Horne, Kirk Yeaman, Shaun Briscoe, Richard Horne, Chris Thorman, Ewan Dowes, Hodgson, Peter Cusack, Mike Burnett, Danny Tickle, Lee Radford. Subs: Craig Hall, Tommy Lee, Jamie Thackray, Willie Manu, Danny Houghton.
