Hull name two vice captains
Hull coach Richard Agar has appointed two vice captains for the 2009 season.
New signing Chris Thorman and Australian prop Peter Cusack wiill provide support for current club captain Lee Radford.
The decision has been made to virtually guarantee Hull has a leader on the field all the time.
Coach Agar said: “They are both well respected in the squad and the game and, although Chris has only been with us a short time he has really impressed."
Thorman captained Huddersfield before leaving the Galpharm Stadium to join the Airlie Birds while Cusack also has experience as a captain.
“Both have top-level captaincy experience and it will give us bigger contribution to leadership, which we are trying to encourage and we will always have one of them on the field.”
