Wakefield pair start injury return

Wakefield pair Jason Demetriou and Matt Blaymire have started their rehabilitation programmes following close season knee operations.

Wildcats Head Coach John Kear said: “Both players have come through the surgery well and have started their rehabilitation programmes.

“We’ve targeted the pre-season game against Hunslet Hawks on Sunday, 24th January 2010 as their first game back so that they can prove their fitness in time for our opening engage Super League XV game at Harlequins RL on Saturday, January 30th.”
