Myler set to stay at Salford

Richie Myler has admitted his head has been spinning amidst the recent speculation surrounding his future but he is set to stay with Salford.

The scrum-half, 21, has been linked with Warrington, Wigan and a host of other clubs after an impressive debut season in Super League and a record-breaking performance for England against France last month.

He said: "I have a job to do for Salford, I'm under contract and that's why I signed a three-year deal."

Myler has been missing for the past few weeks through injury but is hopeful of a return in Saturday's clash with Celtic Crusaders in Bridgend.

"To be honest, the foot injury I've had has been something of a blessing because it's kept me away from the spotlight.

"As far as I'm concerned there are no major decisions for me to make as I am contracted to keep playing for Salford."

Myler moved to Salford from Widnes when the Vikings went in to administration at the end of 2007, signing a three-year deal which runs out at the end of the 2010 season.
