Hull sign Roosters prop O'Meley
Hull FC have signed Sydney Roosters forward Mark O’Meley on a three-year deal from the start of 2010.
The 28-year-old prop joined the Roosters at the start of 2008.
The Roosters have released O’Meley from the final year of his contract so he can make the move to engage Super League.
"I have had a wonderful time at the Roosters and am able to take some great memories with me," said O'Meley.
"Whilst it has been a lean season this year I am excited about the future of the Club and the young players that we have coming through.
"I am sad to be leaving but am looking forward to the experience over in the UK and it will be nice to be there alongside Fitzy and our families."
O’Meley will be sidelined for the remainder of 2009 as he will have to undergo arthroscopic surgery on his knee.
