St George's Day has been marked with the launch of the brand new England kit for 2009/10.

Once again the England kit carries the cross of St George and today was chosen as the best date to launch the new strip, ahead of the Four Nations in the autumn.

Phil Williams, Marketing Manager, RFL states: “With the Four Nations on the horizon this autumn I’m sure fans will relish wearing this new England shirt with pride.  It was striking during the World Cup just how many England fans were out there in Australia wearing England’s colours and I hope we’ll see the same this year starting with the international against France in June.”

England will face France, Australia and New Zealand in the end of season tournament hoping to erase the memories of a bad World Cup in Australia last year.
