Doncaster win fight for Morton
Doncaster have signed ex-Hull KR and Scottish international centre Gareth Morton.
Morton, who has previously played for Borders Rugby Union, was released by Hull KR at the end of 2006 and moved to Italy to play union.
He finished in Italy last month and was approached by both Oldham and Leigh but chose to move to the Keepmoat Stadium.
Morton said: "I'm really excited about playing for Doncaster. I've seen there results and am impressed with the side. I'm just wanting to play hard and try cement myself a spot in the team."
Doncaster defeated Rochdale last week to reach the Northern Rail Cup semi finals where they will face Batley.
