Players handed two-year drug bans
Two players from Co-operative National League Two have been banned for two years after breaching the Rugby Football League's anti-doping regulations.
Lee Forth of Doncaster and Andrew Doherty of Gateshead Thunder both provided samples that contained banned substances.
Forth's sample, given in August, contained benzoylecgonine, a metabolite of cocaine, while Doherty's sample, given in September, contained the stimulant ephedrine.
Both players were given their bans at an RFL hearing on the 21st of November and will be suspended until the same date in 2009.
