Prop forward Eamon O'Carroll has signed a new three year deal with Wigan which could keep him at the JJB until the end of 2011.
O'Carroll, 21, was out of contract in November and has signed a deal to cover the 2009, 2010 and 2011 seasons, with the final year being an option in Wigan's favour.
Chairman Ian Lenagan said: “We are pleased that Eamon has put pen to paper on a new deal with the Wigan Warriors. He is the latest of our talented young players to commit his future to the Club. Eamon joined the Warriors from the Waterhead Club in Oldham and has progressed through our Academy and Reserve sides to become a regular in our first-team squad.”
Eamon O’Carroll added: “I am delighted a new contract has been agreed. I really enjoy playing for the Wigan Club. I feel I am learning all the time off the experienced players around me and I look forward to trying to cement my place in the seventeen each week.”
