Hull KR's play-off hopes have been dealt a hammer blow with the news that Scott Murrell and Chev Walker will both be sidelined for the remainder of this season.
Loose forward Murrell dislocated his shoulder during Rovers' 22-8 home win over Harlequins.
It was originally hoped that Murrell, 22, would not require surgery and that he may recover within six weeks, but the injury turned out to be far worse and he won't return to the field until next season.
25-year-old centre Walker will also miss the club's play-off push, after a serious wrist injury forced him to undergo surgery.
Head coach Justin Morgan will now have to cope without two of his key players for the business end of the season, as the Craven Park club suffer a
serious dint in their top six aspirations.
