Clint Greenshields grabbed himself a hat-trick as Catalans cemented 3rd position with a win in an extraordinary, high scoring contest in Perpignan.
The Australian full-back’s two second-half tries laid the platform for the Dragons to recover from a 14-18 half-time deficit.
Pat Richards opened the scoring for Wigan with a try and conversion however it was quickly cancelled out as Dragon’s centre John Wilson went over and Bosc slotted the conversion.
Bosc then added another penalty before the Warriors regained the lead through a Joel Tomkins’ try.
Greenshields then scored his first, as he exchanged tries with Carmount before the interval, giving the visitors a 4 point half-time lead.
The lead survived for only five minutes after the restart, as Elima's score was converted by Bosc to put the Dragons ahead, only for Wigan to pull back the difference through a Richard’s penalty shortly afterwards.
Two tries in four minutes put Catalans into a winning position as Mogg was followed over the try-line by Greenshields, Bosc stroking over both conversions.
Coley thought he had given Wigan a chance but Raguin quickly cancelled out his score, as the prop was able to ground the ball over the line.
The game looked finished when Greenshields completed his hat-trick, but Wigan showed good spirit to fight back in the final 10 minutes.
Paleaaesina forced his way over but Mogg’s drop goal extended the gap before Cameron Phelps helped himself to a consolation try for the visiting Warriors, as he scored on his debut.
It was not enough however and Catalans were able to hold onto victory in front of nearly 10,000 spectators.
