Catalans Dragons back rower Jason Croker has signed a one year extension to his contract with the club.
Croker, who has played more than 40 games for the Dragons since joining at the beginning of the 2007 season, will be start his 18th season as a professional in 2009.
He said: “I am very exited to stay with the Dragons next year. It is a good club and I am happy to had the possibility to make this decision. I will be 36 next year so it will be probably my last year as a player and I am glad to have the possibility to do that with the Catalans Dragons”.
General Manager Christophe Levy said: “Jason has been a fantastic player for the club during his inaugural season. And he still continues to be. I am very happy for him and his familly, he fully deserves another year contract. We are planning to bring 2 more very young French second row next year and I am sure they will learn a lot from him.”
