Wigan Warriors' 20-year-old stand off Mark Flanaghan has boosted Halifax's National League aspirations by signing on loan until the end of the season.
Flanaghan signed from Bradford Bulls two seasons ago but is yet to play a competitive game in Super League.
He teams up with Thomas Coyle, who is also on-loan from Wigan, at The Shay. Coyle made an impressive debut against Widnes on Sunday.
Halifax chief executive Graham Clay said: "This is another great deal for us and we are grateful to Brian Noble and the Wigan club for agreeing to this move."
