Hull KR's Clint Newton could be hit with a ban, after the forward was charged with striking during Friday night's 52-10 loss at St Helens.
Referee Phil Bentham placed Newton on report, following an incident with St Helens prop Jason Cayless.
Newton caught Cayless with a late high tackle, before appearing to hit him on the floor across the face with the forearm.
The incident resulted in Kiwi Cayless being stretchered off, and he could miss a substantial part of the season's remainder with possible medial knee ligament damage.
Second rower Newton, 27, who was also fined £300 earlier this season for 'behaviour contrary to the true spirit of the game', is to appear before the RFL's disciplinary committee tomorrow evening.
