Head Coach Andy Kelly and assistant Ryan Sheridan have left Dewsbury Rams by mutual agreement.
The announcement comes just two days after the Rams' disappointing home defeat to Oldham in the Challenge Cup, despite a battling performance in defeat at home to Widnes last week.
Ireland coach Kelly, and former Leeds scrum half Ryan Sheridan have struggled this season to get the best out of their players, with the Rams losing all six of their National League 1 games this season.
A permanent replacement has not yet been discussed, but Dewsbury have approached Warren Jowitt to take charge on a temporary basis.
A club statement said: "Due to Warren’s work commitments he will not be applying for the post full time however he holds the appropriate coaching certificates, knows the squad, and will be acting as Caretaker Coach until a new coach is appointed.
"The decision has not yet been made whether or not to advertise the position and that will be decided in the next couple of days.
