Castleford Tigers sponsors Arriva have signed a significantly improved deal which will see them making a substantial five-figure cash investment sponsorship deal for 2008-2009.

The deal will see Arriva become a major sponsor of The Tigers and continue to be Community partners.

The Tigers will again feature on the back of one of Arrivas Double Decker buses, in the form of Joe Westerman, which will no doubt become a familiar sight to travellers around West Yorkshire.

Commercial Manager Craig Poskitt said: " I am absolutely delighted to announce an improved sponsorship deal with such a well respected national company in Arriva, After negotiations since mid-february it is a timely boost for the club and hopefully the start of things to come for the 2009 season"
