Footy Legends was released in Australia in September 2006. It is the first Australian movie to my knowledge that has extensive footage of rugby league. The movie stars Khoa Do, who also directed and produced the movie. Alongside him, are Angus Sampson, Emma Lung and Claudia Karvan. Included in the movie are Matty Johns and Andrew Voss, who are NRL commentators.

No modern rugby league DVD is complete without the most dramatic play in the history of Super League, Chris Joynt’s last second try against Bradford in the play-offs, and “Rugby League’s Boots, Balls ‘n’ Bellringers” DVD is no different.

Union converts anywhere could do a lot worse than read Iestyn Harris’ excellently written autobiography, “There and Back” which profiles his move from League to Union and back again, the first player to do such a thing.
