Once again, Matt Diskin is going to have a massive amount of pressure put on him. He is currently the only speciality hooker in the Rhinos first team and not only will he be forced to play in the heart of the scrum for the full 80 minutes, he will be forced to stay injury free for the next 9 months.

Diskin has always been in the shadow of Keiron Cunningham during the Super League era, although he is certainly not far behind the Saints hooker in any department. A second season of pressure will no doubt make Diskin into a much stronger character and the former Harry Sunderland trophy winner will want to book a seat on the plane to Australia at the end of the year.
