'Berro' as he likes to be called, is arguably the biggest signing in Super League ahead of the 2008 calendar. Peter Sharp has signed him as a direct replacement for the retired Richard Swain and every single Hull fan cant wait to show what he has to offer.

In the earlier stages of his career, Shaun played at Centre, and his older brother Barry Berrigan starred as the hooker for Brisbane Broncos, but he soon found his way to follow in the foot steps of his family member by switching over to the number 9 shirt. He has represented Queensland on 12 occassions and Australia 5 times also. Shaun also starred in the 2006 NRL Grand Final, claiming the Clive Chuchill Man of the Match medal.
