Danny Tickle signed from Wigan at the end of the 2006 season after an average season in Lancashire, and the opinions of Hull fans on the new signing was less then convincing to say the least....but how wrong was we about him!?

During the 2007 season, Danny slotted into the Second Row superbly, and took over the kicking duties which saw him become the in-form goal kicker in the league. At a time when Hull were under performing, Danny continuously played 110% and he scooped the player, and the players player of the year award at the club. He was very unfortunate to miss out on the Super League Dream Team and is a definite to watch out for in 2008.
