The big character with a Tongan heritage, Willie made a huge impact and impression at Hull on other clubs from the very start, since becoming a big fan favourite at the KC Stadium. Its safe to say that every single Super League club would love to have him in they're starting 13, because his sheer power, upper body strength and determination to go forward is at times unbelievable!
Willie is one of the most difficult players to put down in tackle, because of his brilliant upper body stength, combined with a height of only 5ft 11" Inches, which for a second row is pretty small. That said, 2008 will surely be another year for the opposition to fear the 'Manu' factor throughout the Super League.
