Influential McLinden is in his fourth season at Harlequins, and he has proved a key part of the Quins line up particularly in the past two years. Comfortable at full back or in the halves, his versatility and adaptibility is a key part of his game. Prior to his London move, McLinden made 165 appearances for Canberra in the NRL, scoring 65 tries. Injuries have limited his appearances at Harlequins, but he has still scored 109 points in 65 appearances.
McLinden is part of the Quins playmaking triangle, alongside Danny Orr and Scott Hill, and he will be looking to guide his troops around the park in the hunt of a play-off place in 2008, and McLinden will be hoping to stay injury free.
