Gafa is another former Canberra player in the Quins ranks, and has also represented the Malta national team. He arrived as a forward, but Gafa has been moved in to the backs in his time at the Quins, and will most likely be featuring in the centres in 2008 having been handed squad number 3.

Gafa spent time out of professional rugby league in the early part of the decade, but returned in 2003, playing for the Canberra reserve grade side. He made it to the first team in 2004, and scored 154 points in 42 games before moving to Quins in 2005. He has featured regularly for Quins since his arrival, making 45 appearances prior to the 2008 season.
