Orr arrived at Quins after an unspectacular spell at Wigan, although he was appearing to hit somewhere near his best in his last few months at the JJB. He was a member of the Castleford side that reached the Super League play-offs, and he made two test appearances for Great Britain in 2002, before his move to Wigan in 2003.

Equally comfortable in either half back role, Orr is a great support player and has a solid defence for a player of his size. He also boasts a first class kicking game, which Quins will be hoping to utilise in 2008.
