Rinaldi is a playmaker who can cover the hooking role and scrum half position. The Frenchman played in Super League in 2002 for Wakefield, and was part of the first ever Super League Catalans side. He left the Dragons at the end of 2006 to try and get a game at scrum half, after he became disillusioned at regularly playing hooker for the French side.
He has 29 caps for France, and featured regularly for Quins last season, making 26 appearances. After Olivier Elima's return to France, Rinaldi is currently the only Frenchman playing for an English Super League side.
