Worrincy joined the academy at the then London Broncos at the age of 16, and spent the 2005 season developing his potential at Hull FC's academy, where he played an important role in the Airlie Birds' Grand Final success alongside London team mate Louie McCarthy-Scarsbrook.
Injury problems in 2006 at the club, meant Worrincy made his first team debut for the club, and he played in the first three games of the 2007. But despite playing well, was dropped to the academy, with McDermott preferring the likes of Karl Temata and David Mills ahead of Worrincy, before a further kick in the teeth for Worrincy when McDermott loaned in Luke Burgess to cover the prop position during an injury crisis. Despite this, Worrincy made a handful of appearances last season, bringing his total to 16 appearances, in which he has scored 4 tries.
