Chris Walker, Gold Coast to Catalans
Controversial Chris Walker is set to sign for Catalans Dragons if he can resolve his differences with Bradford Bulls. The French club have earmarked the Gold Coast Titans winger as a replacement for captain Greg Bird, who rejected a new two-year contract to head the other way on a one-year deal with the Queensland NRL club. Dragons coach Kevin Walters, who had anticipated the departure of the stand-off or loose forward, is keen on Walker but conceded he has issues to settle with Bradford. Graham Murray, Free to England
Graham Murray is interested in being the next England rugby league coach but will not beg for the job. Ex-Leeds chief Murray, who last bossed North Queensland Cowboys, said: "If the RFL are interested, they can find my number." (Source: The Sun)

Crusaders, Bridgend to Wrexham
Super League's fledgling club Crusaders are putting the finishing touches to a deal that will see them move from south Wales to Wrexham. The former Bridgend club will be based at the Racecourse Ground from 2010, sharing a home with the Blue Square Premier League football team, although they will not sever all ties with the south. The club intend to stage several matches "on the road", probably in Neath, which is the intended home for a new Championship One club.

Michael Witt, rugby union to Crusaders
Contracted Rugby Union player and inside back Michael Witt has confirmed he's returning to rugby league. Witt, who formerly played for the Warriors in Auckland, had a brief rugby stint in Dunedin this year, playing for the Taieri club. He had seven games for Otago, six of them as a substitute. Otago Rugby Football Union chief executive Richard Reid says Witt is taking up an offer from the reformed Crusaders club, formerly known as the Celtic Crusaders, based in New Port.
