Ryan Atkins, Wakefield to Warrington
Atkins is to join Warrington for the 2010 season, subject to the agreement of a transfer fee between the Wolves and Wakefield. Atkins has played for Warrington boss Tony Smith for England and started his professional career at Bradford. His current Wakefield deal doesn't run out until the end of 2011. Stuart Littler, Salford to Leigh
Leigh Centurions could be ready to check out the availability of Salford City Reds' long-serving centre Stuart Littler. He is still on contract and is enjoying a deserved benefit but has admirers within the camp of his hometown team. Leigh have also been linked with prop Phil Leuluai, and have already confirmed the signing of Robbie Paul. (Source: MEN)

James Ford, Castleford to Widnes
Former Sheffield centre or winger James Ford is set to sign a two-year deal to move across the Pennines to Northern Rail Cup winners Widnes. Paul Cullen is building his team for the 2010 season and pacey Ford is set to line up alongside fellow speedster Kevin Penny, who is expected to sign on a season long loan for 2010 from Warrington.

Sam Burgess, Bradford to Manly
Highly-rated young forward Burgess is set to see out the final year of his contract with Bradford next season before moving to the NRL for the 2011 season. Manly recruitment chief Noel Cleal said: "He is probably the pick of the next generation over there. And he wants to come and play down here."

Johnathon Thurston, North Queensland to Japan RU
The Cowboys have gagged skipper Johnathan Thurston in the wake of the latest contract rumours, this time linking him to Japanese rugby. The star halfback – off contract at the end of the 2010 season – has been linked to everyone from the Bulldogs and Eels in the NRL to England's Super League, French and now Japanese rugby. A report on Channel Nine's Footy Show said offers up to $1 million a season were set to come out of the Japanese competition. (source: Townsville Bulletin)
