Michael is a strong winger who has spent most of his career outside of the top flight. However, the Leeds Rhinos academy graduate does have Super League experience having spent two campaigns with Wakefield.

After an impressive spell with Batley, Michael joined Castleford following their relegation to the National League and scored 18 tries, including one of the 2007 Grand Final, to help the Tigers bounce back at their first attempt.
