Ryan McGoldrick joined the club in 2006 after a long-running wrangle over his contract with West Tigers, who believed they had secured McGoldrick's services from Cronulla Sharks. McGoldrick instead signed for Castleford, and after a long-running feud, Wests decided to void his contract. Played the majority of the campaign at stand-off, but reverted to his centre role last season, where he provided the excellent service akin to a stand-off to the wingers. Will be one of the Tigers' dangermen this season.
