Yorkshire born Fozzard was a 2003 acquisition from local rivals Warrington after 3 promising years at Wilderspool for the Primrose and Blue. The former Shaw Cross junior has made the number 8 shirt his own at Knowsley Road, although some untimely and unlucky injuries have limited “Fozz” to just the single GB appearance in 2005.

The formidable, no nonsense prop forward will be out of contract at the end of the 2008 season and will be looking to play for the final contract of his career. Fozzard capped a superb 2007 by being named in the super league dream team. His 2007 season will be most remembered for knocking Wigan forward Stuart Fielden unconscious during a game between the two sides.
