Former Wigan prop Hargreaves signed for Saints in time for the 2007 season after making 33 first team appearances for bitter rivals Wigan. He had loan spells at Leigh Centurions in 2006 before signing up at Knowsley Road. Hargreaves was sent out on loan to allow the Warriors to sigh Stuart Fielden, although even that decision was not enough to see the Warriors avoid a second successful salary cap breach.

The Wigan St Patrick's junior will be hoping to add to his appearances in 2008 and will no doubt want to push the more established props for a starting spot.
