After making 18 consecutive appearances on loan at Hull KR in 2007, Hardman returned to St Helens, only to be sent out on a 12 month loan to local rivals Widnes Vikings for the 2008 season. He will be a superb acquisition at the Stobart stadium after helping super league struggles KR in beating the drop in 2007.

A former England under 17 try scorer, Hardman made 47 first team appearances before his move to Craven Park, although Hardman must fear for his future at Saints, he will no doubt strive to regain his place at Knowsley Road for 2009.
