Paul Sykes made his debut for Bradford Bulls against Wakefield in 1999 having joined the club from Thornhill ARLFC. He went on loan to London Broncos and made the move permanent in 2002. In 2005 Sykes was voted Supporters’ Player of the Year. An injury to his kidneys saw him ruled out of the 2006 season, but he rrteurned early in August of that year, making his comeback against Bradford. In 2007 he made his Great Britain debut against France. Sykes returned to the Bulls at the start of 2008 and was part of England’s squad for the 2008 World Cup.
